Sarah Stacey

Sarah is an experienced executive HR professional, currently director of HR Business Partnering at NATS responsible for a team of HR Business Partners / Advisers deployed across the UK and internationally, together with the Occupational Health and Aero Medical Service provision within the organisation. She has previous experience within high change environments including the utilities and transport sectors, typically working in areas of commercial development, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions.  Frequently working with Trades Unions in complex industrial relations environments, Sarah has been successful in effecting change which has enabled organisations to transform and ensure sustainable futures in challenging times.  She is now interested in the evolving challenges facing modern organisations, particularly cultural change, intergenerational working and mental health support in work. Sarah studies English and theatre studies at Warwich University and in interested in politics, culture, art and the environment.

Katie Foster

head of People Services, NATS

Katie has over 14 years’ experience in human resources and now leads the HR operations function for NATS encompassing the talent acquisition, generalist HR support and advice, and HR process, data and technology teams. She has previously held senior roles within other areas of HR such as reward, employment policy and employee relations.  Katie graduated from Solent University with a first class honours in Human Resource Management and went on to further study and obtain a Masters in Human Resource Management and CIPD qualifications.  She is also an alumnus of London Business School, having studied courses on negotiation, leadership, and HR strategy in transforming organisations.  In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with family and friends, cycling, improving her sailing skills (in warmer weather!) and performing as a lead singer of a wedding/function band.

Dr Wendy Earle

convenor, Arts and Society Forum; former impact development officer, Birkbeck, University of London

Wendy writes on the arts and culture for spiked and is convenor of the AoI Arts and Society Forum, which promotes open and open-ended discussion of the arts and culture and of the place of arts and culture in society.  Until recently she worked at Birkbeck, University of London, to promote knowledge exchange and public engagement with research in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Previously she worked in educational publishing and at the British Film Institute.

Dr Simon Mouatt

Simon has 26 years lecturing experience at Solent, City and Chichester Universities and has published three books and several journal articles. He is currently the coordinator of the Association for Heterodox Economics and is a trustee of the Green Economics Institute.

Inaya Folarin Iman

Inaya is a broadcast journalist who has worked as a feature writer and columnist for various national publications including the Daily Mail, The Telegraph and spiked. She is a panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Moral Maze and is a regular commentator across leading political and cultural radio and TV programmes. She is the Founder and Director of The Equiano Project, a forum to promote freedom of speech and open dialogue on the subjects of race, identity and culture. She has also helped found and deliver numerous freedom of speech initiatives including Index on Censorship’s Free Speech Is For Me, the Free Speech Union and the Free Speech Champions project. 

Adam Rawcliffe

partnerships manager, The Spectator

Adam is partnerships manager at The Spectator, the oldest continuously-published magazine in the world. Prior to joining The Spectator, Adam spent a year as a prison officer in the UK’s busiest jail and maintains an interest in criminal justice and rehabilitation. Prior to all this, Adam was director of external affairs for the Academy of Ideas, working at a senior level on the Debating Matters Competition and the Battle of Ideas. He led the Debating Matters Beyond Bars project at HMP Birmingham for three years and has produced debates at the Battle of Ideas on everything from dating apps to ‘killer clowns’. He is a graduate of the University of St Andrews. In his spare time Adam is a keen NFL fan and vice-captain of Black Squadron FC. His many successes since leaving school can all be traced back to his championship winning performances in Debating Matters UK and International competitions.
