Bettina is a senior manager for the organising committee of the Special Olympic World Games, Berlin 2023 gGmbH. She is responsible for Education, Science, Youth and Schools.
Bettina has been part of the Special Olympics family since 2008 where she has been involved in the areas of youth leadership and education. Bettina is part of the organising committee for The Special Olympics National Games which will take place in Berlin from 19 to 24 June 2022 and she is also part of the legacy team of the Local Organising Committee hosting The Special Olympic World Games in Berlin in 2023. Together with her team, she is in charge of the Unified Generation Program creating encounters between young people with and without ID and inclusive learning settings.
