Nigel is Fleet Street’s longest serving political editor and has known every prime minister since Margaret Thatcher. He was nominated for Political Journalist of the Year in the 2017 British Press Awards and he frequently appears on BBC News and Sky News to discuss politics. Many, many years ago he was runner-up in the National Schools Debating Competition.
