Joel is Senior Public Affairs Officer at Royal Town Planning Institute and associate fellow of the Academy of Ideas. He is a regular convener and chair of debates at Europe’s premier ideas festival, the Battle of Ideas, covering a range of issues across civic life, education, politics and international affairs. Joel has worked in public affairs and the charities sector and is a proud alumnus of Debating Matters where he competed in 2007.
