English trainer, Sustainability Changemakers
Phoebe grew up between Paris and the UK before studying French and German literature at the universities of Oxford, Bonn and Hamburg.
She has worked in communications and cultural roles for organisations including Yahoo! in Munich, the French Embassy in London and French energy group EDF. In 2012, she travelled solo across Russia and Asia photographing dustbins for an exhibition later shown in Paris and Berlin – an experience that sparked her long-term interest in sustainability and the circular economy.
Today, she is the founder of Phenomenal Words, training professionals and changemakers in English communication, focusing on sustainability and circularity. A certified circular economist, she has delivered over 60 workshops and talks around sustainability and supported more than 250 people to develop their English skills.
Her interests include singing in a choir, tai chi, travel literature and collecting new words.
